Working with Me as a Wellness Coach Using the Lifestyle Medicine Framework


When you work with me as your health and wellness coach, you'll experience a supportive and engaging process designed to ​help you achieve optimal health and well-being.


As your coach, I’ll use a range of specific, proven techniques to support your success. Here’s what that will look ​like:

  • Supportive and Stimulating Engagement: I will engage with you in a way that is both supportive and thought-​provoking, helping you navigate your personal journey with clarity and focus.
  • Clear Goal Setting: Together, we will identify your true needs and set clear, actionable goals to help you reach your ​fullest potential.
  • Uncovering Your Best Self: By eliminating distractions and focusing on what truly matters, I will help you uncover your ​best self and achieve your personal and professional goals.
  • Encouraging Cognitive Growth: I will offer targeted exercises and activities that stimulate your brain, helping you adapt ​and grow through new ways of thinking, thereby supporting your ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Finding Intrinsic Motivation: I will help you discover and harness your intrinsic motivation, so you make changes driven ​by genuine desire, not obligation.

Here's what you can expect:

Listening and Understanding: I am dedicated to truly listening and understanding your stories. My goal is to foster self-​acceptance and self-respect, and I focus on identifying your strengths, values, and desires. I will ask thought-provoking ​questions and sometimes let you sit with difficult emotions to inspire your desire for change.


Celebrating Successes: I believe in the importance of celebrating your successes and recognizing your progress. My ​approach is playful when appropriate, and I am committed to engaging and challenging you to reach higher at the right ​moments.


The Coaching Process:

  1. Initial Assessment: You will begin by providing background information through a well-being assessment. This helps us ​both understand key issues, including any medical considerations.
  2. First Coaching Session: During our initial 60-90 minute session, we will identify your priorities and develop a personalized ​wellness plan. This includes creating a vision, setting three-month goals, and outlining the initial steps to take.
  3. Ongoing Coaching Sessions: In our subsequent 45-minute sessions, scheduled weekly, monthly, or quarterly, we will ​review your progress toward your vision and goals. We will address pressing issues, explore new learnings, and set goals ​for the next period. Expect plenty of "ah-ha" moments along the way.
  4. Three-Month Milestone: By the end of three months, you can expect to have achieved over 70% of your goals. You will ​feel energized and confident, ready to tackle new areas with or without continued coaching.


Through this structured yet flexible process, I will help you navigate your wellness journey, ensuring you feel supported, ​challenged, and celebrated every step of the way.
